Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City the" City Council") will conduct a public hearing to consider establishment of the Park City STAR Bond Project District on February 14, 2023 at 7: 00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 1941 E. 61st Street North, Park City, Kansas 67219. At the public hearing, the City Council will consider findings necessary for establishment of a STAR bond project district. Following the conclusion of the public hearing, the City Council will consider an ordinance making certain findings related to and establishing the Park City STAR Bond Project District
The City Council voted to approve a resolution to hold a Feb. 14 hearing about the sales tax and revenue bonds, which would create a potentially $400 million district on the old Echo Hills Golf Course that could include an aquarium and other museum and entertainment venues, restaurants, hotels, athletic complexes and residential uses.
